Fleshy, heavy silk from Lyon, hand rolled and sewn edges. "La France" motif, color version with a blue edge. The scarf reflects the painting by Francoise De La Perriere from 1959, which pays homage to France's heritage.
This is a very rare scarf - a real treat for collectors, especially since it is the first release, before the company started using the copyright mark ('c' stamp).
The scarf is in very good condition with a minus. Silk is strong, heavy and shiny. However, there are three places where the scarf has delicate yellow spots. Also below the logo, the blue edge is slightly discolored. All imperfections are shown in the photos and are not visible when worn.
