A sweatshirt paying tribute to Franz Beckenbauer (called Der Kaiser), released by Adidas in 2005.
Its design refers to the sweatshirt of the German national team from 1974, when Germany won the World Cup and Franz Beckenbauer was the captain of the team. Blue with navy blue trim. Fastened with a zipper, two front pockets with zippers. There is an Adidas logo and a patch with the German Football Federation (Deutscher Fussball Bund) logo embroidered on the front, and an Adidas World Cup Greatest Moments patch at the bottom. On the back there is an embroidered image of Franz Beckenbauer on a throne and the inscription Der Kaiser.
As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that Russell Crowe wore this sweatshirt in the movie Broken City in 2013. Limited collection. A rare find - a treat for collectors.
