Fleshy, heavy silk from Lyon, hand rolled and sewn edges. "Musee" motif, color version with a white edge. The scarf reproduces the painting by Philippe Ledoux from 1962. The original manufacturer's tag has been gently removed.
Scarves based on paintings by Philippe Ledoux are among the most sought after by collectors. Additionally, this pattern can be found in the Hermes scarves museum at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
